Lois Lillian Schwartz

Lois Lillian Schwartz was born June 7, 1934 in Springfield to Paul and Lillian (Sharfe) Wandersee. Lois attended school in Wanda and then graduated from Lamberton High School. After graduation she worked for the telephone company in Sioux Falls, SD. She was united in marriage to Harold Schwartz January 17, 1954 in Redwood Falls. After their marriage they lived in Brooking, SD and Lois worked for the University while Harold was in school. After his graduation, they moved back to Springfield and then moved to Minneota in August, 1957. Lois enjoyed bowling, was a member of the Ladies Church Circle, the Legion Auxiliary and was the church secretary for many years. Lois died on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Minneota Manor after a two week diagnosis of lung cancer. She is survived by her husband, Harold, children: Kevin (Vicki) Schwartz of Waconia, Dawn Goffin of Corcoran, Tammy (John) Hageman of Savage, Steve (Kathy) Schwartz of Volga, SD and Lisa (Mike) Ahartz of Aurora, SD and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Leah.
