Lorraine Vlaminck

Lorraine Julia (Bottelberghe) Vlaminck was born on May 3, 1927, in Limestone Township, Lincoln County, to Hector and Stella (DeCock) Bottelberghe. She was Baptized and Confirmed at St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota. Lorraine attended St. Edward Catholic School and graduated from Minneota High School. On June 18, 1946, she married Cyriel Vlaminck at St. Edward Catholic Church. The couple lived on a farm southwest of Minneota until 1976 when they moved into Minneota. Lorraine was then employed at the Minneota Manor Health Care Center for 27 years as a Dietary Aide. She enjoyed embroidery, reading and spending time with grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Lorraine died on Thursday, August 2, 2007, after a two year battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughter Mary (Jerome) Jerzakof Ivanhoe, son Peter (Myrna) Vlaminck of Minneota, Daughters, Audrey (Ron) Weverka of Hendricks, Diane (Larry) Anderson of Brookings, Jane (Jeff) Flood of Porter, Carol (Doug) Hoffman of Parkers Prairie, 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, siblings Herman (Annie) Bottelberghe of Minneota, Raymond (Bertha) Bottelberghe of Minneota, Delors Vlaminck of Ivanhoe, Bea (John) Vlaminck of Grass Valley, CA, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
