Louis Regnier

Louis D. Regnier was born on March 22, 1924, in Ghent to John and Eva (Gagnon) Regnier. Louis farmed with his dad East of Marshall until 1962 when the family moved into town. Louis was a faithful caregiver to his parents for their whole lives. He worked on a road construction crew for McLaughlin & Schultz for many years. Louis enjoyed fishing, playing cards, drinking coffee at Mike’s Café and spending time with his family. He died at his home on Friday, August 10, 2007. Louis is survived by his brother, Melvin Regnier of Hartford, SD, nine nieces and nephews, 14 great-nieces and nephews, many friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bernice Niska, brother-in-law Jan Niska and sister-in-law Lorna Regnier.
