Madeline Elizabeth (DeCrock) Blomme was born on November 24, 1919, in Sodus Township to Archie and Leona (Phillips) DeCrock. She attended grade school at St. Joseph Acadamy. On November 16, 1938, she was united in marriage to Henry Blomme at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. They lived in the Green Valley and Marshall Area and had one son, James, of Marshall. Madeline was formerly employed by Dental Arts, Midplane Gas Co., Lavogue Fashion and Wee Moderns. Her enjoyment was her family and friends. She enjoyed square dancing and playing cards.
Madeline died on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Franklin, MN. She is survived by her daughter-in-law JoEllen Blomme of Marshall, grandchildren Todd (and Debra), Tim (and Kathryn), Tom, Tina (and Jeff) Nielsen, and Troy (and Rhonda), eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, son James, brothers Edmond and Lucien and sister Alice.
