Marcella Wintheiser

Marcella Mary Wintheiser was born on March 14, 1915 in Morgan, MN, to Adam and Anna (Koll) Schouviller. Her family moved to Mahnomen, MN untIl the age of 16 when she moved back to Morgan. On November 20 1940, Marcella was united in marriage to Leo Wintheiser at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan. The couple farmed in the Morgan area until moving to Marshall in 1970. Leo and Marcella both grew up in large families and Marcella enjoyed spending time with her family, was well known for her cooking, and was active in her church. Marcella died on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at the Minneota Manor Health Care Center. She is survived by her son Ralph (Georgia) of Gresham, OR, granddaughters Victoria of Portland, OR, and Anita Larson of Anoka, son-in-law Rick (Gail) Larson of Anoka, sisters Dorothy Walz of Mahnomen and Della Steffl of Larimore, ND. She was proceded in death by her parents, husband Leo, daughter Linda and an infant child.
