Margaret Cole

Margaret Mary Louise (Roberts) Cole was born on May 6, 1918, in Gary, SD, to John and Mable (Schmuhl) Roberts. She grew up in Marshall. ON September 4, 1943, she was united in marriage to Ken Cole in Gilmore City, IA. The couple lived in Kansas City, MO, for one year before returning to Marshall in 1944. Margaret loved fishing and enjoyed helping raise her many nieces and nephews. She died on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at her residence in Marshall. She is survived by her husband, Ken, of Marshall, 44 nieces and nephews, 127 great-nieces and nephews and 63+ great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Mose, Frederick “Fritz”, Albert, Ruth, Florence, Laura, Iola, half-sister Hazel and half-brother Charles.
