Marian Boerboom

October 28, 1932 — August 1, 2012

Marian Elizabeth Boerboom was born on October 28, 1932, in Marshall to Ambrose and Marie (DeBuscher) Girard. Marian was united in marriage to Gerald Boerboom on October 30, 1952. The couple was blessed with seven sons that made them very happy and proud. They farmed and raised their family in rural Marshall until moving to town in 1993. They taught their children to live life to the fullest and appreciate the importance of faith and family. One of the things she looked forward to every year was the annual family camping trip. She loved to spend her time with family, friends and cheering for the Twins and Vikings. She was also fond of golfing, fishing, playing cards, Rolle Bolle, and traveling.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Gerald, her parents Ambrose and Marie, and her grandson, Austin Boerboom on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall surrounded by her family. Her loving spirit will be missed by her children, Lenny (Marilyn) of Green Bay, WI and their children Kelly (Dan) Rowe, Chad (Nicole), and Kevin; Darriel (Ann) of Marshall, and their children Kyle (Jeama), Nathan, and Brandon; Dennis (Dawn) of Marshall, and their children Brent and Eric; Curtis (Mary) of Marshall, and their children Ryan, and Jamie (Matt) Wendorff; Marty (Pam) of Dassel, and their children Alex, Danielle, Mitchell, and Cody; Loren (Taunia) of Burnsville, and their children Dylan and Travis; and Rick of Coon Rapids and his son Gerald; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita (George) Laleman, Barbara (Robert) Brewers, and Julie Ann Wyffels; brothers, Ambrose “Junior†Girard and Vincent (Roberta) Girard.
