Marie Pearcy

Marie was born on August 19, 1923, in Marshall, to George and Elizabeth (Theobold) Garrow. She grew up and attended school in Marshall. On July 29, 1941, she was united in marriage to Robert Pearcy. The couple farmed for many years. When they moved to Marshall, Marie went to work for Schwans at the Sun-Vi plant. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and being a homemaker. Marie also enjoyed dancing, listening to old-time country music and spending time at the senior center. In 2006, she moved to Hill Street Place. Marie died on Sunday, June 17, 2007, at the Minneota Manor. She is survived by her children Phyllis (Larry) Marks of Marshall, Donna Larson of Orion, IL, Gary (and Tammy) Pearcy of Ft. Collins, CO, daughter-in-law Renee Pearcy of Marshall, 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son Steven, two sisters and one brother.
