Marie Jeanette Schreiber

Marie Jeanette Schreiber was born in Westerheim Township on February, 23, 1928. She attended country school in the rural Minneota area until the 8th grade. Marie graduated from Minneota High school. After graduation, Marie started to work at Ireland’s Paint store in Marshall, before a career at Hoffman & Brobst Tax Accounting. 1997, Marie had a stroke that forced her to retire and move into Morningside Heights Care Center. The care for Marie by the staff made it easy for Marie to call Morning side Heights her home for the past 16 years. Marie was an active member of the Holy Redeemer CCW. She enjoyed spending many hours playing her piano and accordion, listening to and singing to music. She loved to reminisce and visit with her family about the past. Nobody could visit Marie without a family history lesson. She loved to follow the Minnesota Twins and will now be cheering for them in Heaven. Marie died September 21, 2013 at the Avera Morningside Care Center at the age of 85. She will be missed by many relatives and friends. Blessed be the memory of Marie Jeanette Schreiber.
