Martha Ione was born March 9th, 1913 in Summit, SD to Henry and Ethel (Warner) Bosacker. When she was a small child, the family moved to Elysian, MN where she attended grade school. In 1925, they moved to Marshall where she and her eleven siblings helped on the family farm north of Marshall until her marriage to Ervin âBuckâ Lanoue at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Faithfully, Martha followed the Minnesota Twins. She was also the matriarch of 5 generations.
In 1995 she became a resident of Hill Street Apartments and in 1999 she entered Avera Morningside Heights Long Term Care facility where she was lovingly cared for and where she remained until her death.
