Marvin Smerling age 74 of Garvin, MN died Wednesday, September 03, 2008 at the Avera-Marshall Medical Center in Marshall, MN. Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Almlie Funeral Home in Balaton, MN. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Saturday also. Interment will be at the Lakeside Cemetery in Balaton, MN. The Almlie Funeral Home of Balaton is handling the arrangements.
