Mary Louise Flemming

Mary Louise Flemming was born October 29, 1914 in Ghent, MN to Louis and Elodie (Van den Buschee) DeSutter. She attended school at St. Agnes School in Ghent, MN. Mary and Arthur Flemming were married on May 18, 1937 at St.Eloi Catholic Church in Ghent, MN. The couple lived in Minneota where she worked for AB Tracy Co, then as an inspector for USDA, and at Schott’s Corporation. She moved to Marshall for 5 years and then lived in Shakopee for 1 year before her death at St. Francis Hopsital in Shakopee on Monday, March 16, 2009. Mary was a member of St. Joan of Arc Society of which she was an officer. She enjoyed participating in Hill Street activities and wintering in Las Vegas. Mary is survived by her children Wally (and Margie) Flemming of Las Vegas, NV, Carolyn Huston of Fairbault, MN, and Kaye Flemming of Shakopee, MN; eight grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchilren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandchildren Katherine Elizabeth and Krisiti Jo.
