Mary Aline Jacobson

Mary Aline (Olson) Jacobson was born on March 21, 1926, in Tracy, MN, to Ernest and Mary (Armendariz) Olson. She grew up in Tracy and attended Tracy Public Schools. Mary was united in marriage to Lyle Jacobson. The couple made their home in Marshall where Mary worked for the A & W and later was Head Cook for the Marshall Middle School. She was a full time caregiver for her husband for many years after he sustained injuries in a car accident. Mary enjoyed drawing, embroidering, playing 500 and dancing to old time music. She also enjoyed traveling. She visited Germany, Guatemala and many other places. Spending time with family was most important to Mary. Mary died on Friday, December 02, 2016, at her residence in Marshall. She is survived by her children Linda (and Tom) Hansen of Longville, MN, Chad (and Leslie) Jacobson of Brookings, SD, Janice Olson of Shakopee, MN, Dianna (and Marcel) Noyes of Laporte, MN, Mary (and Jeff) Perschke of Marshall, Joseph (and Jill) Jacobson of Moorhead, MN, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lyle, sons Thomas and Chester, and all of her siblings.
