Mary (Nuytten) Loyson

d. February 14, 2009

Mary was born on July 24, 1923, in Grandview Township to Cyriel and Irma (Van Acker) Noyes. She grew up on the family farm near Ghent. On September 23, 1941, she was united in marriage to Gerard Nuytten. The couple farmed and raised their family Northeast of Ghent. Mary’s family was always the most important part oF her life. Upon Gerard’s death in 1962, Mary was devoted to taking the best care of her children that she possibly could (and she did an awesome job!) On August 29, 1975, she was united in marriage to Raymond Loyson and the couple made their home in Marshall. Mary was a woman of great faith. She enjoyed her home and took great pride in it. She also enjoyed playing cards with friends and traveling. She was a member of St. Ann’s CCW, the American Legion Auxiliary of Ghent and the Senior Citizen Center. Mary died on Saturday, February 14, 2009, at the Minneota Manor in Minneota. She is survived by husband Ray, currently living in Minneota, children Sharon Schmidt (and Ken Hayes) of Minneapolis, Gary (and Sandy) Nuytten of Ghent, Judy (and Dean) Van Overbeke of Sioux Falls, Jeff (and Kris) Nuytten of Willmar, step-children Roger Loyson, Gordy Loyson (and Pat), RoseMarie (and Jim) Van Hecke and families, grandchildren Jason and Jim Schmidt, Jordan and Jonathan Nuytten, Kim Pilney, Josh Nuytten, Blair Van Overbeke and Kay Josten, great grandchildren Samantha, Alyssa, Alexis, Tessa, Lilly, Kellen, and Natalie, brother Maurice (and Ethel) Noyes, sisters-in-law Bernadine Noyes and Yvonne Maes, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
