Mary Lee Mockel

Mary Lee Mockel was born on February 28, 1945, in Marshall, to Herman and Rita (Gregoire) Mockel. She grew up in Marshall and attended school at Holy Redeemer Catholic School. Mary did housecleaning for various families in Marshall. In 1979, she moved to Worthington where she worked for the Achievement Center. She loved reading, music and watching scary movies. Mary died on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at her residence in Worthington. She is survived by her mother, Rita Mockel, of Marshall, siblings Tom (and Phranee) Mockel of Springfield, VA, Nancy (and David) Garman of Corpus Christi, TX, nieces Katy (and Kyle) Mathis, Bethany (and Kelly) McCleery, nephew Wayne Garman, great nieces and nephews Kayla, Madison, Cadence and Keith. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman.
