Mike Rabe

Michael George Rabe was born on December 2, 1937, in Hallock, MN. He grew up in Hallock, played hockey among other sports and graduated from High School. Mike then enlisted and served in the U.S. Air Force. After his honorable discharge, MikeÂ’s career was in industrial sales, selling pipe valves and fittings in Minneapolis, Moorhead, Bismarck and most recently as a branch manager for Midco Supply in Marshall. After retirement in 2004, Mike spent his time fishing, golfing and traveling to Connecticut to see his daughters and grandchildren. He was very passionate for high school and collegiate hockey and attended several hundred games over his lifetime. He was also very passionate for the Marshall Golf Club. Mike died on Friday, September 7, 2007, at the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. He is survived by his children Tom Rabe of Bismark, ND, Tracy (Chuck) Snyder and their children Joe, Jack and Charlotte of Norwalk, CT, Tiffany (Micheal) DiIorio and their children Nicholas and Michael of Norwalk, CT, and Tim Rabe of Denver, CO. He is preceded in death by his mother, Tecla Rabe.
