On October 10th, 2007, Molly Linstrom, 53, of Marshall, surrounded by her loving family and supported by the prayers of her friends and family, passed away peacefully and with the dignity that defined her life.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2007, at First Lutheran Church in Marshall. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. â 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Born in New York City and raised in Detroit, MI, she was the only daughter of James and Margaret (Conklin) Love. Passionate and enthusiastic from day one, she was never one to watch life from the sidelines. With her ever-present smile and eternal optimism she embraced life and met each challenge knowing that, regardless of the difficulty, she could overcome it.
That she was living with Cancer was not what defined her. And for those who knew her, they saw that it certainly didnât keep her from living her life the only way she knew how. Active in a multitude of community and civic affairs, her love for the town of Marshall kept her busy with the Marshall Fine Arts Council, the Marshall Planning Commission, the Marshall Area Hockey Association, the County Library Board, Prairie Home Hospice, and City Council.
A Master Gardner, emerging artist, tireless volunteer, best friend, supportive sister, proud mom, dedicated wife, and of course, one vocal hockey mom, Molly leaves behind a legacy that will be proudly carried on by her sons Patrick, Gregory and James, her daughters-in-law Kristin and Heather, her brother Michael Love, and her husband Steve.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James and Margaret Love.
Memorials preferred to the Molly Linstrom Memorial Fund, care of Bremer Bank of Marshall.
