Myril attended Pipestone Vocational Technical School for one year. In 1979, he was united in marriage to Evelyn Sik at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno. The couple made their home in rural Lynd. Myril worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was a very talented wood worker and enjoyed projects of all sizes. He built a home-made saw mill and created numerous cabinets, furniture and other items. Myril was talented in other areas as well. He could build, create or fix just about anything. He truly had a heart for service and was always willing to help others. Myril and Evelyn enjoyed family get-togethers, road trips, camping, bicycling and he was very fond of his cats. Myril died suddenly as the result of an apparent heart attack on Monday, August 06, 2012.
