Nyla May Voss

Nyla May (Budnick) Voss was born to John and Alice (Larson) Budnick on October 4, 1933, on the family farm by Arco, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Arco. Nyla attended school in Arco. In 1953, she was united in marriage to Melvin Voss. To this union, five children were born. Nyla loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, going for walks to the parks and embroidery. She was a member of Albright Methodist Church in Marshall. Nyla died on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall. She is survived by fiancé Jerry Stenerson, daughters Valerie (Fran) Downing of Taunton, Pamela (Jim) Tesch of Lafayette, IN, Kim (Jack) Baune of Redwing, MN, fiance’s daughter Denise Erwin of Worthington and her son Nick Erwin, grandchildren Lacey, Haley and Tyler Scholten, Ryan and Matt Rand, Alyssa and Jackie Downing, Adam (Kasee) Hetland and Jacob (Caroline) Tesch, Heather and Jasmyne Baune, great-grandchildren Mason Tesch, Alaina McCann and Carys Tesch, sister Darlene Gladis, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Gregory Voss, daughter Sherry Scholten, sister Marles Sovell and infant twin sisters Margie and Margaret Budnick.
