Pat was born on Valentine’s Day 1951 to William Culhane and Frances(Fargen) Culhane. She was the fourth child in a family of six. Pat went to school at Marshall Central Catholic High School until her junior year when the two high schools consolidated. She was an honor student and graduated in 1969. Pat then attended Southwest State until she was married to Dan Busch in 1971 at which time she moved to California. Pat worked for the U.S. Navy and continued her schooling until she graduated from San Diego State with a Civil Engineering Degree in 1985. She began work at the U.S. General Services Administration soon after in Denver, CO and later in Seattle, WA. Pat was later promoted to a regional supervisor .in Anchorage, AK. Twelve years ago, Pat had the opportunity to return to Minnesota and be closer to family by taking a similar position at Ft. Snelling in the Twin Cities. She was proud of her career and retired in May, 2012. Pat loved the Fine Arts and was also an avid reader. She was a long time member of the German Shepherd Rescue Association of America. For much of her life, Pat had special rescue dogs as companions in her home. Pat was a caring and loving sister and friend to many. She will be truly missed by her family and close friends. She is survived by her brother-in-law Gordy Garrow of Sioux Falls; brothers Jim (Marsha) ; Mike (Carol); Terry (Sandy), all of Marshall, and sister Peggy ( Bryan) Peterson of Fergus Falls. Pat had a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins that were especially close to her. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and older sister Kathy Garrow.
