Funeral services for Pearl Rothwell, 100, of Tracy, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Horvath Remembrance Center in Tracy. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Tracy Community Cemetery in Tracy.
Pearl Junice (Okeson) Rothwell was born April 11, 1921 to Eugene and Julia Okeson in Clinton, MN. Pearl married Thomas J. Rothwell on August 30, 1938. They had one son Larry Thomas Rothwell. Pearl and Tom lived in several southwestern Minnesota communities and settled in Hadley, MN in 1948. Tom managed the Hadley Creamery for 12 years while Pearl took care of Larry and their home. They moved to Tracy, MN in 1960 where they owned Tom’s Mobile in the downtown area. Pearl worked in the 1960’s at the Pepsi Bottling Plant in Tracy. Pearl later worked for many years at Mina’s ladies dress shop on main street in Tracy. Pearl was a member of Tracy Lutheran Church where she was active in her younger days.
Pearl died on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Prairie View Healthcare Center in Tracy. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Elaine Ault (AZ), granddaughter, Lisa Rothwell Simon (AZ), great-granddaughter, Trisha Horvath (AZ), nephews, Theron (Sue) Gove (AZ), John (Jan) Gove (MN), and niece, Patricia Gove Proctor (UT).
Pearl was preceded in death by husband, Thomas, son, Larry, and her parents.
