Rada Marie Mitchell

Rada Marie (Lanoue) Mitchell was born on June 4, 1924, in Marshall, to Eldred and Jeanette (Boudreau) Lanoue. She grew up in Marshall and was baptized, received first communion and confirmed at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. On November 10, 1947, she was united in marriage to Charles Mitchell at Holy Redeemer. The couple lived in Marshall and Rada worked as a telephone operator and later for Kelco for a number of years. She enjoyed playing bingo and working on crafts. Rada and Charles also enjoyed spending time at their lake home up north. Rada died on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at the Avera Marshall Healthcare Center in Marshall. She is survived by her brother, Leroy Lanoue of Alexandria and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles and brothers Merlin and Arnold Lanoue.
