Ray Gregory Labat

Ray Gregory Labat was born September 1, 2010, in Bemidji, to Adam and Erin (Peterson) Labat. He was a happy baby who had a smile that lit up his whole face. Ray was very observant and enjoyed watching his family members and toys that lit up including his turtle night light, his glow worm and his lighted nursery rhyme book. Ray also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his companion Roscoe his dog and his cousin Sammy. Ray died Tuesday, January 11, 2011, in Bemidji of suspected SIDS. He is survived by his parents, Adam and Erin, grandparents Greg and Marilyn Labat of Marshall and Brad and Mary Peterson of Maple Grove, Aunt and Uncles Kyle Labat of Sioux Falls, SD, and Jeremy Labat of Marshall, Abbie (and Justin) DeYonge, Adam Peterson and Jacob Peterson of Maple Grove and best friend and cousin Samuel DeYonge of Maple Grove, and other Labats, DeSaers, Petersons and Young relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Nancy Young, great-grandfather Henry Labat.
