Robert Edward Ball was born on November 27, 1968, in Morristown, TN, to Ernest and Guelda (Allen) Ball. He grew up in London, Kentucky and Marshall, Minnesota. When he was in high school, he moved with his family to Minneapolis where he graduated. Robert attended the University of Tennessee for a few years, majoring in Anthropology. He lived in Toronto, CA, for 15 years working in an exclusive art gallery, before moving to Ghent MN four years ago to be closer to his sisters. He was currently working as an insurance specialist for US Bank. Robert was an avid lover of the arts including painting, theater, and music. He LOVED to cook, and was famous for his ham. He loved making all of his food look magazine perfect!! He also enjoyed traveling, especially to foreign countries, with Newfoundland, Canada, being a favorite destination. He was very fond of spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Robert was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved life, and his family. He had a way with making the impossible seem possible with his wise words and wise cracking jokes!! He had an infectious laugh and sassy attitude! He made an impact on everyone he met and he loved unconditionally! Forever in our hearts, and always on our minds, we love you Robert!
Robert died unexpectedly at his residence in Ghent MN, on Monday, January 06, 2014.
He is survived by his mother, Guelda Allen of London, KY, siblings Becky Ball of Minneapolis, Laura (and Tom) Buysse of Minneota, Sonia (and Dustin) Kesteloot of Marshall, maternal grandmother Eva Allen of London, KY, nieces Melissa (and Korey) Kesteloot, their children Owen and Avery, Heather (and Charles) Green, their daughter Braelyn, Matthew (and Kaley) Buysse, Ellen Buysse, Haley Roberts and Abigail Kesteloot, Uncle Freddie (and Judy) Ball and Aunts Bobbie (and Bill) Davenport, Imogene Tyre, Linda Tincher and Lucy Cook, all of London, KY and special friend Simon Evans of Toronto, Canada. He was preceded in death by his father Ernest Ball, his paternal grandmother and both grandfathers.
