Ronald R. Peterson age 54 of W. St. Paul, MN, formerly of Marshall, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at his home. Services will be noon Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Household of Faith in Cottage Grove, MN. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.
Ronald Roan Peterson was born January 5, 1958 to Paul and Josephine (Lipinski) Peterson on the U.S. Air Force base in Tachikawa, Japan. He was baptized and confirmed at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall, MN. Ronald attended Marshall Public Schools, graduating from Marshall High School in 1976.
Ron was a very talented musician and played in several bands throughout his life. He also had a passion for teaching music. He enjoyed hockey, moto-cross, golf and, of course, music. Ron lived most of his life in Marshall, but had moved to West St. Paul, MN where he worked in the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant the last five years.
He was considered a great brother and friend, and was loved by many.
On Wednesday, December 5, 2012 Ron died at his home in West St. Paul at the age of 54.
Ron is survived by his two brothers, Brian (Teresa) Peterson of Tampa, FL; and Doug Peterson of Shorewood, MN; three sisters, Terri (Greg) Breyfogle of Walnut Grove, MN, Karla (Jim) Hanson of Loveland, CO; and Pam (Brian) Schulte of Watertown, SD; sixteen nieces and nephews and many friends.
His parents, Paul and Josephine Peterson preceded him in death.
