Sylvia DeSimone

Sylvia Ann De Simone was born on November 29, 1940 to Walter and Irene (Parulski) Jerzak in Lake Benton, MN. Sylvia graduated from high school in Ivanhoe, MN. Shortly after graduation, Sylvia moved to California. While in California, she met Samuel A. De Simone, Sr. They dated for quite some time. They married on January 19, 1966. On February 22, 1968, their son Samuel A. De Simone, Jr. was born; their daughter Stephanie A. De Simone (Robertson) arrived on September 14, 1970. Sylvia continued to live in California until 2000, when she moved back to Minnesota with her son, Sam. Sylvia liked to spend her time with family and friends. She enjoyed teaching as a educational aid in her younger days. She also enjoyed being a insurance auditor. Sylvia died on Saturday February 21, 2009, at her residence in Marshall. Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Robertson; grandsons Trae De Simone, Matthew Robertson, and Brandon Schuh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam, parents, and son, Sam.
