Terry Lee Jennen was born on November 1, 1953, in Marshall, to Joseph and Janice (Anderson) Jennen. He grew up in rural Ghent and graduated from Minneota High School in 1971 where he was active in music, sports and 4-H including the 4-H judging team. In 1976, Terry graduated from Southwest State University in Marshall. Terry continued to farm in rural Ghent until 1988 when he moved to a farm north of Minneota. After college, Terry began working as an accountant for Gold and Carlson in Marshall. He later worked for Hoffman and Brobst for a time before beginning his own accounting service. On August 31, 2002, Terry was united in marriage to Jane Regnier. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially raising Dominik. Terry was very passionate about the sport of auto racing.
Terry died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 09, 2007, at the Sioux Valley Canby Campus in Canby after a short illness. He is survived by his family, Jane and Dominik of Minneota, step-daughters Jessica Regnier, Nicole Bresson, Stephanie Regnier, sister Darlene and her husband Rodney Rye of Porter, nieces Wendy Rye and her husband Bryce Kosmalski, Pam and her husband Lyle Trautman and their families and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
