Terry Lynn Rasmussen

Funeral services for Terry Rasmussen, 56, of Dawson, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Almlie Horvath Funeral Home in Tracy, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Bethel Cemetery in Garvin. Terry Lynn Rasmussen was born on October 1, 1959, in Marshall, to Eugene and Lilah (Kopitzke) Rasmussen. She grew up with her parents and siblings in Garvin. She continued living with her parents when they moved to Dawson. Since 2012, Terry has been living at the Divine House in Dawson. Despite the obstacles in her life, she had a tremendous impact on others. She enjoyed interacting with her friends and family and playing with her toys. She always appreciated the care she received at Divine House and the relationships she had with the workers and other residents. After a brief illness, Terry died peacefully at the Divine House in Dawson, MN, on Wednesday, April 26, 2016. She is survived by her mother, Lilah Rasmussen, siblings Eugene (and Mary) Rasmussen of Staples, Rebecca (and Sherman) Sheets of Thomas Township, MN, Gale (and Kevin) Lacek of Canby, Conrad (and Barb) Rasmussen of Garvin, Dallas (and Tami) Rasmussen of Welcome, MN, Wade Rasmussen of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeff (and Sarah) Rasmussen of Marshall, Lisa (and Roger) Carlson of Truman, Darrell (and Amy) Rasmussen of Dawson, Aunt Evelyn Kopitzke of Dawson, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene, infant brother, Mark, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
