Tim (Bugsy) Botsford

Timothy John Botsford was born on March 15, 1952, in Marshall, to Clifford and Florence (Sullivan) Botsford. He grew up in Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School. Bugsy worked on the road for McLaughlin & Schultz for a few years, and then worked in sales MDI. He later worked for Northstar Homes. Bugsy enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his son, Trace. He was an avid supporter of Pheasants Forever and the Minnesota Twins. Bugsy died on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at his home in Marshall after a two year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Jan, of Marshall, son Trace of Marshall, siblings Charlene (and Terry) Weibel of Minneapolis, Kent Botsford of Fon Du Lac, WI, Pat Botsford of Marshall, Brad (and Paula) Botsford of Marshall, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kathleen Olson.
