Timothy A. Hohler age 69 of Tracy, MN died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at his home in Tracy. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Almlie Funeral Home in Tracy. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Almlie Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM and continuing one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be in the Tracy City Cemetery, with a luncheon served in the Tracy Eagles Club immediately following the burial. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.
Timothy Anton Hohler was born June 25, 1942 to Herbert and Marie (Dilly) Hohler near Montevideo, MN, Chippewa County. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. As a young man his family moved to Tracy, MN and he attended Tracy Public Schools, graduating from Tracy High School in 1960.
On October 14, 1961 Tim married Kathy Campbell in Currie, MN. They made their home in Tracy until 1968, when they moved to Delano, MN for five years, before returning to Tracy in 1973. In the past, Tim worked for thirty five years, as a crane operator for Ed Kraemer & Sons of Minneapolis, MN and more recently he drove truck, for five years for Sweetmanâs of Currie.
Tim was a Charter member of the Tracy Eagles Club Aerie #3918 and was a member of the Local #49 Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, bird watching, and spending time with his family while cooking on his grill. He will always be remembered for his good sense of humor and âtalking smartâ to keep you on your toes.
On Saturday, March 3, 2012 Tim died at his home in Tracy at the age of 69.
Tim is survived by his wife, Kathy Hohler of Tracy, MN; two sons, Tim (Shannon) Hohler of St. Cloud, MN and Curt Hohler of Tracy, MN; three daughters, Cindy (Roger) Ehret of McMinnville, OR, Tammy (Jon) Haecherl and Toni (Robb) Townsend, both of Tracy, MN; twelve grandchildren; three brothers, Gary (Diane) Hohler of Walnut Grove, MN, Randy (Sharon) Hohler of Tracy, MN and Robert (Carolyn) Hohler of Bellevue, NE; one sister, Linda (Kelvin) Pope of Tracy, MN; his precious dog, Sarge; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a great many friends.
His parents, Herb and Marie and several Aunts and Uncles preceded him in death.
