Toe Mar

A graveside service for Toe Mar, 63, of Marshall will take place at the Marshall City Cemetery on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 beginning at 3:00 p.m. 

Toe Mar was born July 1, 1960 as the fourth child to the late Saw Harry and Me Mu in Burma. He moved to Thailand in his late 30s with his then 3 kids due to the Civil War. He lived there for 10 years and had 2 more kids then moved to the United States in 2011 with his family where he added 2 more kids to his family. 

While in America, he worked many jobs to provide for his family and ensure their well being. He was a wonderful father and grandfather to his kids and grandkids. In 2020 he was diagnosed with lung cancer which he fought for three and half years. 

He passed away June 1, 2024 in Marshall, MN surrounded by loved ones. 

Toe Mar is preceded in death by his parents Saw Harry and Me Mu.

He is survived by his kids Saw Jefferson and wife, Eh Chrit, Aye Bray Oo, Nay Soe Oo, Hai Mu Ree, Grand Kerry, Ruth Aye, and Naw Shee; grandkids Saw Jeremiah Jefferson and Saw Isaiah Jefferson; and many relatives and friends.
