Trevis DeVos

Trevis was born November 21, 1926 to Sever and Bertha (Miller) Anderson inPorter, Minnesota. She graduated from High School and Teachers Training in Canby. Trevis taught for a few years in country schools until she married Arnold DeVos February 23, 1952 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota. They lived on a farm north of Taunton, where they raised their three children, Diane, Randy and Roger. She was a bookkeeper for DeVos Trucking for over 50 years. She was a member of the St. Edward Caholic Church CCW, and the American Legion Auxillary of Porter. Trevis enjoyEd yard work, gardening, canning and spending time with her family and friends. Trevis is survived by her husband, Arnold; son, Randy DeVos and his wife Mary of St. Leo; daughter in law, Shelly DeVos of Canby; seven grandchildren, Ryan and wife Kerri DeVos, Crystal and husband Brian McKeen, Hope, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Nathan and Lacie DeVos, all of Canby; one great grandchild, Kallie DeVos; and a special family friend, Mack Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Diane DeVos in 2007 and her son Roger DeVos in 2009.
