William Edward Giese was born on April 4, 1947, in Luverne, MN, to Melvin and Maxine (Smith) Giese. Billâs family lived in Hardwick and Jasper, MN, before moving to Redwood Falls where Bill graduated from high school. Bill was a fun loving person who loved to hunt, fish, play cards and spend time with family and friends. He had worked as a salesman for Johnson Brothers of St Paul and Famous Brands of Sioux Falls and various other occupations that surrounded him with people. He recently owned and operated Four Lakes Supper Club in Lake Preston. Due to failing health he retired and sold this business.
Bill is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Hoffman of Pine City, MN, Janet Hey (Marvin) of Spicer, MN and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Maxine Giese and brother-in-law Chuck Hoffman. Bill will be remembered for his quick wit, gentleness and his passion for the outdoors.
